So a friend asked me recently how to animate a jumping pony, so i went off on one in my stream on the basics of animation and how to go about a jump, with some examples. I just now opened Flash to find that the program had for some reason RECOVERED the file I threw away… so I figure I’ll post it here.

And here is the sourcefile! Which you may use ONLY for reference, please. It’s anything but perfect as I had to throw it together superfast on stream.

Playing around in TVPaint. Think I prefer it to Flash and ToonBoom for character animation. They’re only quick throwaways, but I think i got a decent hang of the program.

Made of GIF from this animation because I happened to want it in GIF format.
