Well, here’s his character sheet for the PnP game.

As a character he’s a pony of class and questionable morals. Custom fit mare’s leather armour, A mane treated to perfection and finely tuned magic learned from extensive study back home in Society (from PH- he’s actually mentioned when BJ met Hoity Toity because Somber is cool like that).

Unfortunately he’s rather a mess right now after getting trapped in an errant stable, his mane and coat unevenly damaged at the roots by the contents of the pod he was trapped in.

Now he’s just bitter and single-minded because a lot of shit happened while he was gone.

Ohhey, look what was finally posted!

The first versions I did of this drawing was way too small to make a print, so I traced it 10 times bigger.

Then went off on one.

Okay, so here’s the big Crystal fair post, because now everything is sorted and paid for!

Me and Kalemon will be vending at Crystal Fair in Helsinki, Finland on the 4th til 6th of July! 

I’ll keep this post up to date with all the prints I’ll be taking, but that’s not all I’ll be doing. I’ll also be  doing small pen and pencil commissions for anyone who wants one at the con.

Kale will also have his own prints etc to sell. As pictured, we’re at table 24.

(His mane and coat are also a mess due to events he’s been through in the past year. Noticeably shorter, too!)

Okay, my first response was actually to agree and change my Tumblr to something else, but then I looked at your blog and music.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I feel like I have more claim to the name with a character I established already and use as a persona. I’m not going to pass judgement on your talent, but it’s clear you have very little momentum with the project and I won’t be giving up a blog I may use down the line for my character.

I recommend using ‘PaintbloodMusic’ or the like.

WELL THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE

Between SAI’s limits and the necessity for a huge canvas this was incredibly difficult to finish up. I could have done more in Photoshop, but PS doesn’t support clipping layers over folders, like SAI does.

wanted to do a timelapse, but with so much fucking about (saving and reopening, swapping between sai and photoshop just to merge a layer etc) needed at the end it just wouldn’t have been interesting to watch.
