I’m currently on my third year. The first semester is pre-production. The final piece (which is a non-pony animation) should be done some time in May.

PRRRRRTTTT!!!! *SPITS COFFEE* LOL!
Best one I heard in the whole week.
Now seriously, no, it is not a good tool. Flash is mostly dead, and reserved for very specific shows. If you ask us, particularly Lion, Toon Boom forevah!
In our defense, we are able to use Flash, and it served us in the past, but since we tried TB, we never looked back.
That would be MUCH too uncivilised! Besides, we need something to complain about.
My friend is currently facing a court case for exactly that. The law was introduced in 2010 and since then basically anyone interested in manga risks running into things that the government has decided is child porn.
It’s like they made stepping in dog shit illegal; they can say that, but it’s not like everyone is going out of their way to step in something that’s everywhere… it just happens now and then.
EDIT: Also, notably it specifies later on that it includes the depiction of ‘imaginary’ children.
I’ve gotten a few slightly more more ‘out there’ commission inquiries recently and thought it worth mentioning for the record:
I will not draw NSFW pictures of foals or any other minors.
While I personally have no problem with the idea (people can like what the hell they want as long as nobody is getting hurt, IMO), drawn sexual depictions of minors is legally considered child pornography here in the UK.
